IMIS Strengthens its Supply Chain Consulting Capability

Recent traffic and transport projects, including the Department of Infrastructure’s Melbourne Freight Movement Model (FMM), and the Federal Government Standing Committee on Transport’s FreightSmart project, have cemented IMIS’s Supply Chain reputation. It is positioned as a consultancy with unique ability to combine experience and understanding of Supply Chains in the development of strategic traffic and transport models and analysis.

Jim Papamatheou joined IMIS on contract in 2006 to manage aspects of the industry consultation and the surveys associated with the FMM. In 2007, Jim has become a full time IMIS staff member, providing a great depth of experience to our Supply Chain Consulting team. Jim has 20 years experience in Supply Chain project management and consulting.

Jim’s experience includes:
• Warehouse Management System business case development, feasibility studies and implementations;
• Business Process re-engineering;
• Supply Chain planning and execution;
• Sales and Operations planning;
• Change Management;
• Supply Chain IT solutions; and
• IT strategy and governance

Working with Peter McKelvie, Supply Chain Manager at IMIS, Jim is currently developing business in the Supply Chain Consulting market.
